Wes Ballantine
CEO
Wes has held several leadership roles across the finance and infrastructure sectors over the past 20+ years.
Read moreHe played a pivotal role in establishing Transurban’s North American business and was the first leader of its $7 billion Queensland operations.
Wes has been an advisory Board member and committee member on a range of industry and Government forums and founded and chaired an infrastructure investment and advisory business as well as a thoroughbred breeding and farming operation.
Wes holds a Master of Commerce (UNSW), Bachelor of Arts – Politics (University of Melbourne) and is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and New Zealand. Wes is an alumnus of the Stanford Executive Program.

Michelle Fahey
General Manager People and Culture
Michelle has 15+ years within the generalist Human Resources field, with the last 10 years being within senior leadership positions.

Michelle holds a master’s degree in Human Resource Management with Monash University, a bachelor’s degree in Business majoring in Human Resource Management with Victoria University. As well being a certified Organisational Coach level 1 & 2 with Institute of Executive Coaching and Leadership (IECL).

Phil Barton
Executive General Manager Australia
Phil is an experienced utilities and energy executive, with a deep knowledge of the challenges and opportunities from the energy transition underway across the region.
Read moreHe was a partner at Bain and Company, leader of the Bain utility and renewables practice in ANZ and co-leader of Bain’s Infrastructure advisory.
He has assisted utilities with development of future energy strategies as well as working to design and lead transformational performance and improvement in order to deliver those strategies.
In his role as EGM Australia at Intellihub, Phil brings his deep knowledge of the strategy, challenges and opportunities for Intellihub’s key clients together with experience in team leadership, transformational performance delivery and field service optimisation.
Phil holds a Master of Engineering and Management (1st class) from Birmingham University, and MBA from INSEAD, France.

Clare Baxter
Group General Counsel
Clare has vast experience in executive leadership in the energy sector, with a focus on deal structuring and commercial strategy and risk in the Smart Metering and Smart Grid technology sectors in Australia, New Zealand and across the Asian region.

Clare holds a Master of Laws from the University of NSW, a Bachelor of Laws (1st Class Honours), a Bachelor of Commerce and Administration from the Victoria University of Wellington and a Graduate Management Diploma from IMD, Switzerland.

CEO New Zealand
Lindsay has held various senior leadership roles within the telecommunications, travel ecommerce, software development and utilities sectors in New Zealand and the Pacific.

Jonathan Hammond
General Manager Strategy and Corporate Development
Jonathan has 10 years’ experience in the strategy and energy sectors, with the last 5 years in senior leadership positions in smart metering businesses.

Prior to this he worked in strategy roles at Origin Energy, and as a strategy consultant at Port Jackson Partners and PwC.
Jonathan holds a Bachelor of Engineering (1st Class Honours) and a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) from Sydney University.

Abhishek has extensive experience leading engineering and operational teams, driving business growth and transformation.

Brent Lyster
Chief Financial Officer
Brent has more than 15 years’ experience, including 10 years in leadership roles in the utilities industry, covering the metering, networks, retail and smart grid sectors.

Brendan leads the companies Digital Services Operations, with responsibility for Trans-Tasman Customer Data Delivery, Remote Services and Engineering.

Brendan is a Director of Intellihub New Zealand and has worked in the Electricity, Financial, Transport and Information Technology Services industries.

Vivek has more than 18 years’ experience in the electricity industry with extensive strategic and operational experience at senior management level across meterology, retail, wholesale and distribution business.

Intellihub’s Women in Metering team provide a platform to empower women across the business through connections, shared experiences, and skill development so they can create their own opportunities.
