Case study: family and friends solar battery bundle trial

We created a battery and solar bundle product, trialled by our own employees, family, and friends. The bundle includes desktop assessments, on-site design and quotes, and installation, and offers interest-free repayment options.

Each site will be using an Empower Elektrobank 14 kWh battery – a high-performing hybrid battery storage system with a dual input solar inverter, intelligence software that helps maximise your energy savings, advanced monitoring tools (that can be accessed via a tablet or mobile phone) and emergency backup in case of a black-out. It’s made in Australia and designed for Australian conditions. There’ll also be an optional integration into our deX and Evergen platforms.

Our goal is to further prove that solar & battery systems are worth the investment. We believe that the value created in deploying and optimising these systems can pay back dividends to all stakeholders - including the homeowner, energy retailer, distribution network, installers and equipment manufacturers.

We are also partnering with several energy retailers to pilot a similar proposition.
