Intellihub - Simplify your energy transition

Welcome to the refreshed Intellihub brand, with a new customer focus to simplify your energy transition.

We’ve come a long way in a very short space of time at Intellihub, quickly becoming Australia and New Zealand’s largest and fastest growing smart metering provider.

The reason is simple. We provide our retail customers with the best available technology with a shared goal of working safe and delivering excellent customer service.

But we know our next generation smart meters, high speed communications links and edge computing power can do so much more.

Let’s go beyond the meter

Australians are set to install more than 10 million energy consumer devices in their homes by 2030.

That’s more solar and battery energy systems, more electric hot water units, more EV chargers and pool pumps.

Intellihub CEO Wes Ballantine said better management of these behind the meter devices would help smooth the path to a Net Zero future.

“We see the enormous potential that these consumer devices can make to the energy transition underway across the country,” he said.

“We have a vision to help make this energy transformation easier for energy consumers and easier for our retail and network customers.

“We want to unlock the real potential of consumer energy devices so they can work smarter for households and just as smart for the operators of our energy systems.”

Smarter tech for Australian and New Zealand homes

Over the past 12 months we’ve formed partnerships with world leading technology providers so we can enable homes and businesses to become Virtual Power Plant (VPP) ready. This in turn will capture more benefits from their home-based energy devices.

It means solar inverters, battery energy storage systems, electric hot water systems, EV chargers or pool pumps can more easily join VPP’s, unlocking more efficiency and cost rewards for little effort.

The changes to the world’s energy systems are occurring at a rapid pace and this demands for equally rapid solutions to help us adapt and achieve more sustainable outcomes.

Intellihub has a clear purpose on our role in this changing world - to simplify your energy transition.
